    Default Opinion of flashlight.

I've got a Elite Force M4 cqb. But I am ordering a Classic Army SCAR.
I'm having trouble deciding on the flashlight grip combo

or just a laser, light combo

I would go with the second one because it is at least 150 lumens and most people think anything under that isn't really worth it. At big CQB places people use up to 500 lumen lights

recommend anything Surefire.. Worth every penny. Super bright and reliable. I recommend getting one that you can on/off a mount.. Such as a surefire G2. That way you can hand carry as well as mount it on your weapon.. You can easily pick one up for about 50-60$ then a mount for 20$ or so. I wouldn't trust those china replica's.

Zippy You should try a China Flashlight. They are really pretty good for the price. I will never buy/pay more than 60.00 for a light that can now hit 800 lumens, run 3 months (on an off) on a rechargeable 123's and some even have the colored LED's with out the Surefire Price.

OLIGHT M18 Striker is one of those units. ~$40.00 and comes rail mountable for $65.00 complete.

Then there is the SUNWAYMAN F40A for general camping needs...and the F20C...

Plus you have to ask yourself...where are the components coming from for the SF lights?

Just my personal preference man. I've had the same light on my rifle for 5 years, countless rounds, with no problems. I trust it.

I have used the LED version of this light for 4 years now and I have only had to change the batteries twice. http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_inf...oducts_id=6371

If I needed a flashlight for real steel like Zippy though I would go with Sure Fire just for the piece of mind.

I not only used the China units for Airsoft. On night shift, I carried 3 flashlights and the Fenix units never failed me. My Stinger did multiple times and they were just not as durable, granted we were using xenon bulbs. And the Pelican...good gawd...that was terrible and way over priced. But, the Fenix/Olight/Jet Beam....they all ran and held up very well...except for the one PD32 that fell into Honolulu Harbor. We did see it shine in 30 feet of water for about 2 minutes. Everyone that saw one started carrying them as "supplemental" lights, but used them as primaries.

If you get a chance...try one...you maybe surprised on the quality of some of the lights.

Interesting. I'll def check them out..

Not trying to hijack the thread.. but Do any of them make a clone of the INFORCE weapon mounted light yet? I absolutely love that design.
